Salon Policies

Leash Policy:
All dogs (regardless of their training) must be on a leash while entering and exiting our facility.  No exceptions.  This ensures the safety of your pet(s) and others during your visit.

Admission: We reserve the right to deny admittance to any pets lacking proof of vaccinations, and/or to pets displaying signs of health problems or aggressive behavior.  We reserve the right to charge a special handling fee for excessively difficult or aggressive pets that require additional time or staff members to handle the pet safely.

Vaccinations:
We require proof of vaccinations by a licensed veterinarian before you can schedule an appointment.  We require the following:
Rabies
DHLP
Bordetella, within last 6 months and 7 days prior to service.
We also require pets be current on Heartworm and Flea/Tick prevention

Flea/Tick Policy:
Owners are responsible for keeping their pet(s) flea & tick free. Should we find evidence of fleas or ticks after drop off, we will perform a flea & tick bath immediately to inhibit an infestation within our salon and an additional $20 fee will be imposed for a flea and tick bath.

Price Estimate:
We are happy to give an estimate of what it will cost to groom your pet(s).  However, this is only an estimate.  No prices are final until we physically see your dog. Prices are based upon: Breed, Size, Condition of coat, Temperament and Style.

Matted Coat:
All attempts will be made to salvage a matted coat; HOWEVER, if the pet is intolerant of the dematting process we will notify the owner before clipping the coat shorter.  For owners who do not wish to have their pet’s matted coat clipped short, you will be required to pick up your pet and demat your pet’s coat entirely before returning for grooming and styling.  Please note: Excessive de-matting is a painful, time-consuming, and a costly procedure that causes extreme discomfort and can aggravate (or cause) skin problems.

No Shows/Cancellations:
We ask that you please call to cancel your bath or grooming appointment within 24 hours of your appointment time.  If for some reason you do not cancel your appointment and/or you do not show to your scheduled appointment, you will be required to pay a $30 per dog no-show fee before scheduling a new appointment.

Sedation:
We DO NOT groom sedated pets.  Sedated pets should be groomed under the supervision of a veterinarian. If we feel your pet needs sedation for the grooming process, we will refer you to a professional groomer who works for a local veterinarian partner.
